Kolonne Null makes non-alcoholic wine from real wine. Founded in Berlin in 2018 by Philipp Rößle, made by our own winemaking team with wineries across Europe: Riesling and sparkling wine from Germany, rosé from Provence, red from Spain. Almost all wines are 0.0% Vol., many are organic-certified.
Our Berlin workshop is the heart of it: here we taste, blend and select the base wines from our partner winemakers. No artificial aromas, no colourings, no additives.
What is non-alcoholic wine?
Non-alcoholic wine is real wine. It is pressed and fermented like any wine, then the alcohol is gently removed by vacuum distillation at under 30°C. Unlike grape juice, it goes through the full winemaking process. The low temperature protects aroma and structure.
By EU law, wine may be called alcohol-free at up to 0.5% Vol. Almost all Kolonne Null and Studio Italiano wines are 0.0% Vol.
At KOLONNE NULL we consciously avoid the use of artificial flavours, colours or other additives because they would affect the taste.

Frequently asked questions about non-alcoholic wine
Does non-alcoholic wine taste like real wine?
It depends on the base wine. Kolonne Null develops it specifically for dealcoholization, with winemakers who match growing and pressing to the process. Because it's done at under 30°C, the varietal aromas are preserved.
How many calories does non-alcoholic wine have?
Fewer than regular wine, because alcohol is its most calorific component. The Riesling and Rosé Wine 2025 each have 16 kcal per 100 ml, the Cuvée Blanc Sparkling 15 kcal. Exact values are on each product page.
Can I drink non-alcoholic wine during pregnancy?
Our non-alcoholic wines and sparkling wines are 0.0% Vol. with few exceptions. Many customers enjoy Kolonne Null and Studio Italiano during pregnancy or breastfeeding. It remains an individual decision.
