We present the Riesling Grünlack XO – the first alcohol-free Ultra-Premium wine, created in collaboration with Schloss Johannisberg.
An extraordinary composition of the estate’s private reserve wines, spanning vintages from the 1960s and 1970s to the present day. The bouquet reveals ripe apricot, candied citrus, and delicate mineral notes. On the palate, a delicate balance of subtle sweetness, freshness, and ripe notes unfolds—a multi-layered expression of the highest Riesling culture with the typical characteristics of a Riesling Spätlese from Rheingau.

A homage to 250 years of winemaking artistry – reinterpreted as an alcohol-free masterpiece.
Renowned wine critic James Suckling awarded the wine 93 points, calling it “the best dealcoholized wine I’ve ever encountered.”

 The first 2012 edition of Grünlack Alcohol-Free, which was presented exclusively at last year’s ProWein, has now also been named “Best Alcohol-Free Wine of the Year 2025” by VINUM magazine.
This represents a double confirmation of the vision behind the project – recognized both by international wine critics and one of the most important wine publications in the German-speaking world.
The XO Grünlack comes in a high-quality wooden box.
